  I graduated on 89, was the captain of the drill team and in the honors in gifted program. Back in those days and the few to follow, there were issues at the school, but it changed for the better. I have seen ppl commenting on here that the administration can be racist or there is a lack of certain races. When I attended I was the minority and I thoroughly enjoyed those around me. HS is what you make it. If you believe the hype the msm is selling you about everyone, no one is worth knowing and there is no place outside your comfort zone. Also LAUSD pulls from districts if people don't live in those districts, those people do not attend unless by special permission.

  Good school i was able to take college courses from lavcc while going to school there for free, it was a cool program to be in helped me get into csun with a few ge classes knocked out already
